The club was formed in 1922, and its first pro, Larry Rowe, is credited with designing the original nine holes.
It was not until the early 1960s that the back nine was added. Geoffrey Cornish saw potential in the rock and marsh, and the back nine was carved out by 1964.
Cornish changed the course in the 1980s for the Unionmutual Senior Classics in 1984, 1985 and 1986. |
